The first domestic silicon carbide full industry chain production line was built in Changsha, Hunan province, China.

On the morning of June 23, the lighting ceremony for the first phase of the Hunan Sanan Semiconductor Industrial Park project was held in Changsha.

Hunan San'an Semiconductor Industrial Park is located in Changsha High-tech Zone. It is one of the provincial and municipal "top ten industrial projects" and one of Changsha's 24 manufacturing landmark projects.The project has a total investment of 16 billion yuan and a land area of 1,000 acres. It will be constructed in two phases. Its main business direction is the research and development and production of third-generation compound semiconductor materials and devices. It will be widely used in new energy vehicles, high-speed rail locomotives, aerospace and wireless communications and other fields. After the project is completed, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of 12 billion yuan, an annual tax revenue of 1.7 billion yuan, and provide direct and indirect employment for nearly 10,000 people.
